It's been a reflective summer where I've focused on fine tuning dance as well as learning new items in the Srjan summer workshop. My students are working hard and getting stronger physically and mentally. I am very proud of their sincere efforts and the respect they have given the art form.
As my students work hard, I too continue to perfect and practice under the watchful eyes of my Guru's. My current challenge is refining this beautiful item by Guru Ratikant Mohapatra.
"My heart is anxious to see you dear Krishna. As i wait, something catches my eye in the dark night, a flicker of light. Oh krisha, I do hope it is you. As I take my candle and peer out in the darkness, I am saddened and dissapointed that you have not arrived."
